Why Pareto? Part 3 – The Future

Having recently celebrated our 5th birthday, we decided it was a good time to reflect with some of our Pareto team to find out exactly what they love about working for Pareto FM. We asked the question “why Pareto” to a number of our colleagues and here are the results!

We spoke to a real cross section of colleagues throughout the business, some who have been with us since the early days and some who are new to the family. We wanted the chance to really understand their thoughts and feelings on Pareto.

We put the following question to our team members:

What are you most looking forward to in your Pareto FM pathway?

Mike - Facilities Manager

For me it’s making the positive changes required within a large corporate organisation that desperately requires our help. With the positive ethic of Pareto FM and the people we employ this Client’s site is going far. In 8 months, I have seen the site grow and have been inundated with positive feedback from senior members of the team. This shows the work we are doing is very much welcomed. I am personally looking forward developing within the Pareto family – I for one hope this is a long term move whether it be further within the on-site team or a little deeper within the Pareto team supporting on other projects – as long as it’s with Pareto I know the future is going to be a good one.

Amelia – Workspace Team Lead

I’m most looking forward to moving up the career ladder while doing the whacky, non-desk job things that come with FM e.g climbing in shredding bins or running round a car park like a well-trained rottweiler, sniffing out badly parked, unregistered cars!

Jack – Workspace Coordinator

I am really looking forward to continuing to learn and develop in the role I have recently started, and in time would really like the opportunity to progress within the Pareto team, I really look forward to progressing in a company that cares so much about their employees.

Farima – Lead Engineer

Within last 12 month I have developed a multitude of skills that are vital for operating in the hard service facility and management industry. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and improve my skills within the industry.

Terry – Facilities Engineer

I’m looking forward to training our new starter (Cameron, 19 years old) on some of the skills I’ve picked up over the years. He is not the first trainee/apprentice I’ve had to teach but having had a say in his employment, I’m really looking forward to giving what I can to the lad to ensure he has a bright future.
