All aboard as Pareto FM wins hard services deal with CrossCountry Trains

Long-distance train operator, CrossCountry, has appointed Pareto FM to provide hard services to its portfolio of 27 properties across Great Britain. The contract will see Pareto FM deliver all associated hard services including water, fire, air-conditioning and general H&S planned maintenance. The contract runs across the rail network from Bournemouth to Birmingham to Edinburgh and locations in between.

Paul Crowley MCIPS, Senior Procurement Manager at CrossCountry commented: “To form a partnership with Pareto FM will provide numerous benefits, it will ensure that CrossCountry sites are fully compliant with all current regulations and provide a more consistent standard to our colleagues who work at locations across the country. This will also provide senior management within CrossCountry complete visibility of costs within this area of spend. Pareto FM will provide innovation, which in turn will deliver cost controls.”

Andrew Hulbert, Pareto FM Managing Director added: “To partner with an organisation like CrossCountry is a privilege. They are one of the most important infrastructure organisations in the UK and ensure literally millions of passengers safely and successfully reach their destinations daily. To be entrusted to delivery these critical hard services to this diverse and wide-ranging portfolio, is a great accolade to the continued growth in professionalism of our organisation. In CrossCountry, we have found a client that wanted to innovate, improve and ultimately impact change. It’s been an excellent partnership to date, and we look forward to achieving great things together as we grow and expand across the network”.
